Westliche Karwendelspitze
The Karwendel cable car in Mittenwald, just a few kilometers away from our campsite, takes you up to the western Karwendelspitze (2,384 m). From here you have a magnificent view of the Karwendel and Wetterstein chains, the valleys of the Isar and the Inn, as well as the Stubai Central Alps and the Upper Bavarian Prealps and Lake District. Enjoy the high mountains or visit the newly opened nature experience center at the mountain station of the Karwendel cable car.
