Our restaurant
As we say in Bavaria: “Food and drink keep body and soul together.” That’s why gastronomy holds a special place at the Alpen-Caravanpark Tennsee. At the on-site restaurant “beim Mini,” you’ll be served Bavarian specialties and international dishes. A special highlight are the many culinary events held throughout the year.
Cycling paradise Mittenwald
The Alpine region of Karwendel is ideal for mountain biking and cycling tours for all ages – from leisurely rides in the valley to challenging routes in the mountains, with diverse nature and stunning panoramas. Even locals are repeatedly impressed by the wide variety of opportunities the Alpine world offers.
Family program
Our children's program offers games, fun, and exciting excursions: trips to "Ettal and Oberammergau", a carriage ride from Mittenwald to Lake Lautersee, arts and crafts sessions, visits to the Ghost Gorge or campfire evenings. Playgrounds, a large youth room, and organized tours — for example, to Oberammergau and Ettal — provide variety for the whole family. A wide range of leisure activities are available, all designed to be simply fun.

Closed days: Currently every Tuesday and Wednesday.
Opening hours: 11:00 am – 10:00 pm, year-round except from October 31 to December 18, 2025 (inclusive)
Hot meals: 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm and 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Cold dishes: All day, homemade cakes, ice cream, and snack menu
Table reservation: Recommended in the evening Tel. 08825 17224.

Arrival is possible until 6:00 p.m. For later arrivals, please contact us by phone before 6:00 p.m. at 08825 170. Lunch break is from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., during which entry is not possible.
Check-out is possible until 12:00 p.m. for campsites and until 10:00 a.m. for the apartments.
Sizes of our pitches: Area A1: approx. 100 sqm, Area A2: approx. 80 sqm, Area B1: approx. 80/90 sqm, Area B2: approx. 70/80 sqm, Himmelreich area: approx. 120/130 sqm, Motorhome harbor: 10 to 12 m length; 6 to 6.5 m width
Electricity is billed according to consumption (per kWh).
Dogs: A maximum of 3 dogs per pitch are allowed. In our newly renovated apartments, no dogs are permitted.
The bus connections towards Krün, Wallgau, Mittenwald, Garmisch, Walchensee, and Kochel am See are free of charge with the Alpenwelt Card for all our guests.
The Tennsee is a biotope that can temporarily dry up depending on the weather and precipitation. However, there are the Grubsee and the Barmsee nearby, where swimming is possible.
We have 4 apartments with a balcony suitable for a maximum of two people without pets, and a holiday apartment without a balcony suitable for up to three people. The apartments/holiday apartment are located on the first floor.
Gas cylinders are available at the Tennsee Shop. There, the empty gray 5 or 11 kg gas cylinder can be exchanged for a full one. Outside of shop opening hours, exchanges can also be made at the reception.
Over 60 package: Either one partner is 60+ or a pension certificate is presented; then the over 60 package applies.
